LEVELS

Lindy Hop

No Auditions - You have been dancing for at least 1 year and you regularly attend lessons and social dance. You feel confident with the main 6 and 8 count figures (Swing Out, Inside Turn / Outside Turn, Circle, Tuck Turn, Texas Tommy, Charleston basic, Tandem, Hand to Hand) which you know how to lead / follow

No Auditions - You have been dancing for at least 2 years and you regularly attend lessons and social dance. You know the basic figures of Lindy Hop and some variations. You are starting to improvise following the change of music and you can easily handle medium-fast rhythm.

No Auditions - You have been dancing for more than 3 years and you regularly attend lessons, social dance and international workshops. You can easily handle any rhythm (slow, fast and very fast). You improvise following the change of music without errors.

Compulsory Auditions - You have been dancing for at least 4 years and you regularly attend lessons, social dance and international workshops, during which, after the auditions, you are sent to the highest levels. You can handle any rhythm and you know how to lead / follow and improvise. You can do rhythmical variations without affecting your dance.

Compulsory Auditions - You have been regularly dancing for MORE than 6 years and you attend international workshops on a regular basis (and even participate in competitions). You are a dancer with a wide experience. You like improvising following the change of music and you have developed your personal style working on musicality. You can easily dance to fast tempo and super fast tempo 230 bpm, without disconnecting from your partner.
JAZZ

No Auditions - You have been dancing for at least 5 months and you know the main 6 and 8 count figures: Swing Out, Inside Turn / Outside Turn, Lindy Circle, Tuck Turn, Charleston basic

Accomodation tips

The festival will take place in a very central area of Rome (San Giovanni).
The venues are all located near Metro Line A stations.
We recommend looking for accommodation near the Metro Line A stations: San Giovanni, Re di Roma, Ponte Lungo, Furio Camillo, Colli Albani.
These areas are well connected and offer all essential services and facilities: restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.

Please don't forget that 2025 is Jubilee year, so we recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible.
