Skye was first persuaded to dance Lindy Hop by his mother in 1996, but quickly discovered his own love of social dancing, swing music and the Lindy Hop community. This led him to a wider interest in dance and he took classes in ballet, modern, and Jazz. Since 1999 he has taught wherever Lindy Hop is done- from national weekends to international dance camps. He is a founding member of some the most influential modern Lindy Hop troupes- including Minnie’s Moochers, Mad Dog, and the Silver Shadows. Skye has also won titles at all of the major Lindy Hop competitions- including ULHS, ILHC, ALHC and the World Lindy Hop Championships. This involvement with Lindy Hop sparked his wider interest in America’s history and cultural heritage- leading him to pursue American Studies at The George Washington University where he received his master’s degree in 2007. He currently resides in New York City.
Frida Segerdahl started dancing at the tender age of 5. During her teens she was enrolled in the dance program at Sturegymnasiet studying jazz, modern and ballet and much more. Since the age of 9 Frida started competing in Double Bugg and Boogie Woogie and although she was a champion at both, she hungered for more. When she was 15 she attended Herrang Dance Camp and fell in love with Lindy Hop. In no time, she was asked to join the world's foremost jazz dance company, the Rhythm Hot Shots. She has performed and taught at all ends of the world. In addition to her performance skill, many have rated Frida as one of the best social dancers in the world. Besides her amazing skills in Charleston, Lindy Hop and Jazz Dance, Frida now runs the famous Lindy Hop dance camp that she first attended back when she was 15, The Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden.

They are also influenced by the likes of the early Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet and the old musical roots of New Orleans.
Last year alone saw them playing for dancers in Sweden, France, Hungary, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark Spain, Norway and throughout the UK to rave reviews.
Nicolas Deniau & Mikaela Hellsten
Nicolas & Mikaela
Growing up in different parts of Europe, Nicolas and Mikaela have had similar lives discovering swing and couple dancing at an early age.
Mikaela (Sweden) grew up with a love for music and dancing. As a child she had a preference for Jazz and Rock'n Roll music with favourite artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Bill Haley. She discovered the Lindy Hop at the age of 13 and since then her interest in Swing dancing and its music has kept on growing!
Nicolas (France) attended his first Rock'n Roll dance class at the age of 8 and after only one year of dancing he took part in his first competition. This was the start of a long competition career in Rock'n Roll and Boogie Woogie. He was early drawn to the show aspect of the dance which you can still see in his dancing!
Nicolas and Mikaela started working together in 2010 and has since then performed a number of times at various shows, placed in well-known competitions and taught at many many camps around the world.
Egle Regelskis & Felix Berghäll
Egle & Felix
Felix is a swing dance instructor, performer, choreographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Like many other swedish dancers he started in the swedish competition scene, at the tender age of nine, with bugg as his main style. One year later he took his first basic six count step in Boogie Woogie and has since then never stopped syncopating.
He first visited Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden when he was 16... That's when he fell in love with the African American social dances of the swing era such as Lindy hop, Vernacular Jazz, Charleston and Tap. Since then, he has both tried to inspire others while learning everything he can about the dance, music and teaching of this culture. He is a strong believer in the freedom inherent to the authentic style of these dances and the connection you create with your partner and the music, he also sees swing dancing as a way to bring people together to experience happiness in their life. Why? Because when he dances that’s is all he can think about and express. Pure happiness! These days, he spends much of his time travelling the world doing his best to spread this feeling and these beliefs wherever he goes.
Egle Regelskis is one of the leading Lindy Hop teachers in Lithuania, and a serious up-and-comer on the international scene. She is also a leader and influencer when it comes to helping new Lithuanian swing dance talents emerge as she and her business partner have opened Hoppers’ dance studio in Vilnius. There they help their scene thrive by putting on events and classes.
Dancing was always in her blood: She first tried Ballroom and Folk dances, but it was when she found the family of Swing dances that she knew she had found what she was looking for! Egle believes that dancing is something that helps people conquer their fears and truly connects them to who they really are. She likes to say: "The way we are is the way we dance, magic happens when we step out of our comfort zone thereby accepting ourselves with all our weaknesses and strengths". And she can walk the walk, you just watch what happens as soon as she hears a good song, no matter if it is swing, salsa, funk, soul, hip-hop or house... Egle starts dancing, because she just loves good music! She also believes that if one can walk one can dance, everything else depends on passion and willingness to work.
Mikey Pedroza & Kamile Pundziute
Mikey & Kamile
Since 1998, Mikey Pedroza has been dedicated to the understanding and preservation of classical American Jazz dances such as, Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Slow Dancing (Blues) and Solo Jazz. Hailing from Orange County, California, he passionately developed his own perfect blend of powerful movement and classic grace with a hard edged and playful style which is evident each time he steps onto the floor. Such dedication and originality has earned him numerous awards at national dance competitions as well as opened avenues for teaching and performing.
The same passion and energy Mikey exudes on the floor, he brings to students around the world. And as an instructor, he encourages his students to be self-expressive and creative while establishing a strong understanding of connection, lead/follow technique, frame, body awareness and mechanics. By building a good technical base, students are then free to develop their own personalized style with confidence. Mikey hopes that by sharing his love and knowledge of these dances with others, that they too will find joy in this classical American art form.
